GENERALtrade

Terms & Trading Agreement

Version 1.2 · Effective 18 September 2026

1. Agreement

By creating or using a GENERALtrade account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Trading Agreement and the applicable GENERALtrade policies, procedures and notices presented to you.

2. Who GENERALtrade Is and How the Service Works

GENERALtrade is designed as a controlled direct-purchase service. When an eligible customer sells supported BTC or USDT through GENERALtrade, the customer is selling directly to GENERALtrade. The customer is not matched with another customer and does not choose a third-party buyer.

Digital assets acquired by GENERALtrade may become GENERALtrade inventory and may later be disposed of through approved institutional, wholesale or other permitted counterparties. Customers do not receive an interest in GENERALtrade's inventory or in any subsequent resale proceeds.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

Use of the service is subject to eligibility requirements, account status, identity verification and applicable compliance controls. GENERALtrade may restrict or suspend trading access where an account does not satisfy required checks or where the applicable service is unavailable.

You must keep your legal name, contact information, residential information and other account details accurate and current. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account, subject to applicable law.

4. Supported Assets

GENERALtrade's current customer trading scope is limited to the supported assets displayed by the platform, currently BTC and USDT, subject to applicable network, compliance, operational and regulatory requirements. GENERALtrade may add, suspend or remove an asset or network at any time where permitted.

5. Depositing Crypto Into Your GENERALtrade Account

To sell crypto from your GENERALtrade balance, you first deposit supported BTC or USDT using the asset and network instructions displayed inside your account. You must use the correct asset, network and receiving address shown by GENERALtrade.

A deposit is not immediately treated as available for sale. GENERALtrade may wait for the required blockchain confirmations and complete applicable compliance, wallet/address and transaction checks before crediting cleared crypto to your Available balance.

Sending an unsupported asset, using the wrong network or sending to an address other than the applicable GENERALtrade receiving address may result in loss or in the asset not being credited. GENERALtrade is not required to treat an incorrectly sent or unsupported asset as an eligible customer balance.

6. Available and Held Balances

Your GENERALtrade account may display crypto as Available or Held. Available balance is the amount currently eligible for an approved balance-funded sale, subject to the service controls and limits. Held balance is crypto reserved for a submitted sale that is still being processed.

When you confirm a balance-funded sale, the selected crypto amount is moved from Available to Held. The crypto does not need to be sent again from an external wallet for that sale.

7. Selling Crypto From Your Available Balance

For a balance-funded sale, you select BTC or USDT and enter the amount of that asset you want GENERALtrade to purchase from your Available balance. The platform shows the applicable GENERALtrade buy-price reference, USD value, Naira payout calculation and payout account information before you confirm the sale.

Once you confirm, the selected crypto is placed on hold while GENERALtrade processes the transaction. You must have sufficient Available balance at the time the sale is accepted. You may not sell the same crypto amount twice or otherwise create a negative Available balance.

8. Pricing, Payout Rates and Limits

GENERALtrade calculates a balance-funded sale using the pricing and Naira payout rates configured by GENERALtrade for the relevant asset at the time the transaction is created. Displayed market prices may be provided as reference information and are not, by themselves, a guarantee of an executable GENERALtrade quote.

The platform may apply a minimum and maximum balance-sale amount. Current limits are displayed by GENERALtrade and may be changed through its trading controls. A transaction can also be restricted or held for compliance, risk, liquidity, operational, pricing or other permitted controls even when the requested amount is within the displayed limits.

The Naira amount shown before confirmation is the system calculation for the sale based on the applicable transaction pricing and payout rate. GENERALtrade may refuse or stop a transaction where a required control is not satisfied.

9. Verified Payout Bank Account

Naira settlement is made only to a verified Nigerian bank account associated with the customer's GENERALtrade account and selected for the sale. Customers may maintain the number of bank accounts permitted by the platform's current controls, including a default payout account.

You must provide accurate bank details and may be required to satisfy account-name and ownership checks. A payout account may be rejected, disabled or unavailable for use where verification or compliance requirements are not satisfied.

10. Compliance, Source of Crypto and Transaction Monitoring

GENERALtrade may conduct identity verification, sanctions and PEP screening, wallet/address screening, transaction monitoring, source-of-funds or source-of-asset checks, fraud checks and other risk-based compliance reviews required by law, regulation, policy or applicable risk controls.

You must only deposit and sell BTC or USDT that you lawfully own or are authorized to transfer. Do not use GENERALtrade to disguise, move, convert or cash out assets connected to fraud, theft, scams, hacking, ransomware, money laundering, sanctions evasion, stolen funds or other unlawful activity.

Where a transaction, wallet, source of asset, identity, payout account or other information cannot be satisfactorily verified, GENERALtrade may delay, hold, restrict, reject or report the transaction or activity as required or permitted by applicable law and its compliance procedures.

11. Transaction Processing and Statuses

Balance-funded sales are processed through controlled transaction states. A sale may appear as Pending while it is being reviewed or processed, Payment in process when approved Naira settlement is being prepared, and Completed after the applicable completion conditions and payout have been satisfied.

A transaction may instead be placed On hold when processing is paused for a recorded reason, or Failed when the transaction cannot proceed. The applicable transaction record and customer notifications may contain the status and, where appropriate, a reason or explanation.

The Received status may exist on older or other transaction records where applicable. A current balance-funded sale is created from an existing cleared customer balance and does not require the customer to send the crypto again or pass through a customer-facing Received step.

12. On Hold and Failed Transactions

If a balance-funded sale is placed On hold, the selected crypto may remain Held while GENERALtrade completes the relevant review or determines the appropriate outcome. If the sale is Failed, the held crypto is released back to the customer's Available balance through the platform's controlled settlement process, subject to any applicable legal or compliance restriction.

A Completed or Failed balance-funded sale is treated as a final transaction outcome in the platform and is not reopened through the ordinary customer workflow.

13. No Customer-to-Customer Marketplace

GENERALtrade's current model does not provide a customer-to-customer marketplace, public order book, P2P buyer selection, customer matching, leverage, margin, futures or derivatives trading. The direct purchaser for the customer sale is GENERALtrade.

14. Records, Notifications and Support

GENERALtrade maintains transaction records, status history and applicable audit information for operational, compliance, customer-service and record-keeping purposes. Customers can review applicable transaction information through their account.

GENERALtrade may send transaction and account notifications by email, push notification or other enabled channels. Customers should keep their email address and contact information current and should review transaction details and status messages promptly.

If you believe a transaction is incorrect or requires attention, use GENERALtrade Support and provide the relevant transaction information. Support does not guarantee that a transaction will be reversed or completed where compliance, operational or other controls prevent it.

15. Service Availability and Regulatory Controls

GENERALtrade may disable or restrict balance selling, deposits, specific assets, networks or other services when required by regulatory requirements, compliance controls, security measures, operational conditions, liquidity controls, maintenance or other legitimate business requirements.

The availability of a website or account does not by itself mean that regulated commercial trading is enabled. GENERALtrade will provide regulated services only to the extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law and any authorization required for the relevant activity.

16. Changes to These Terms

GENERALtrade may update these Terms & Trading Agreement, supported assets, limits, procedures, pricing controls, compliance requirements and other service rules as the platform and applicable legal or regulatory requirements develop. The version and effective date displayed on this page identify the applicable published version.

17. Acceptance Record

When you accept these Terms & Trading Agreement during account registration, GENERALtrade records the acceptance information and the version of the agreement accepted with the registration record. The current registration flow records acceptance of Version 1.2.

This is a product-facing trading agreement prepared to reflect the current GENERALtrade platform design. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed and finalized by GENERALtrade's Nigerian legal/regulatory adviser before live regulated trading.
